The Poth Pirates softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Luling Eagles to 7 in the Pirates league win on Tuesday.

The Pirates now possess a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Goliad for a 3A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, April 17. Poth will confront a Tigers team coming off a 14-1 league win over Stockdale (Stockdale, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
