Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) supporters left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), 14-3 in a league game.

With the triumph, Westlake improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Demons host Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to play the Green Wave in a non-league game on Saturday, April 18. The Green Wave enter the game with a record of 9-3. Holy Name lost 7-1 in their recent non-league game against Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH)

The Invaders now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a non-league game on Friday, April 17. Normandy will play a Bearcats squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Maple Heights (Maple Heights, OH). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-1.
