Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Elkhart Lions (Elkhart, IN) and the host Goshen RedHawks (Goshen, IN), saw Elkhart's baseball squad knock off Goshen by a count of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Lions play the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 16. Elkhart will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-3 record after their 13-0 league loss to Andrean (Merrillville, IN).
