April 15, 2022: Mt. Vernon, OH 43050 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) and the host Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets (Mt. Vernon, OH), witnessed Lancaster's softball squad prevail over Mt. Vernon by a count of 12-2.
The Golden Gales now sport a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Teays Valley for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 19. Lancaster will face a Vikings squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Hamilton Township (Columbus, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.
