Rhode Island High School Baseball - Lincoln gets by North Providence
April 15, 2023: North Providence, RI 02904 Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI), 5-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions travel to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI) to battle the Skippers in a Division 1 (State) test on Monday, April 17. The Skippers come into the test with a record of 4-1. North Kingstown won 6-4 in their recent league test against Cranston West (Cranston, RI)
With the defeat, North Providence falls to 2-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI) to battle the Tigers in a Division 2 test on Tuesday, April 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Tiverton lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Barrington (Barrington, RI)
