Virginia High School Baseball - Monacan defeats Middlesex
April 15, 2023: Richmond, VA 23236 Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Middlesex Chargers (Saluda, VA), 11-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Monacan upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Chiefs host Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA) to battle the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Generals come into the test with a record of 3-5. Dinwiddie won 15-4 in their recent league test against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA)
With the defeat, Middlesex falls to 8-3 on the season. The Chargers host King William (King William, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Tidewater test on Tuesday, April 18. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 6-3. King William won 10-0 in their recent league test against West Point (West Point, VA)
