Connecticut High School Baseball - Woodland Regional defeats St. Joseph
April 15, 2023: Trumbull, CT 06611 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) and the host St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), saw Woodland Regional's baseball squad knock off St. Joseph by a count of 10-3.
Coming up next, the Hawks play the Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Copper battle, on Monday, April 17. Woodland Regional will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT).
The Cadets now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Warde for a Fairfield County battle on Monday, April 17. St. Joseph will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.
