Virginia High School Baseball - Covenant loses to Western Albemarle

The Western Albemarle Warriors crushed the visiting Covenant Eagles baseball team by a tally of 12-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now hold a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fluvanna County for a Jefferson bout on Tuesday, April 18. Western Albemarle will face a Flying Flucos team coming off a 16-7 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Flying Flucos record now stands at 6-3.

Next, the Eagles face the Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Covenant will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Celtics enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 20-0 league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
