Illinois High School Baseball - Waubonsie Valley defeats West Aurora
April 15, 2023: Aurora, IL 60504 Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL), 13-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Waubonsie Valley upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Warriors host Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to battle the Mustangs in a DuPage Valley test on Tuesday, April 18. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 5-8. Metea Valley lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
With the defeat, West Aurora falls to 3-4 on the season. The Blackhawks host DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to battle the Barbs in a non-league test on Saturday, April 22. The Barbs come into the test with a record of 11-6. DeKalb lost 15-1 in their recent league test against Naperville North (Naperville, IL)
