In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the The Vanguard School Coursers.

The Trojans (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Mesa Ridge was edged by The Vanguard School (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-2, in a league battle.
