California High School Volleyball - Morro Bay edged by Kennedy
April 15, 2023: Morro Bay, CA 93442 The Kennedy Cougars held off the host Morro Bay Pirates volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 28-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reseda for a Valley Mission test on Monday, April 17. Kennedy will confront a Regents team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Regents record now stands at 19-8.
The Pirates (8-26) will now prepare for their test against Mission Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Royals enter the CCAA - Mountain test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Mission Prep held off Nipomo (Nipomo, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
