Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley tips Lincoln-Way Central

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) and the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), saw Metea Valley's volleyball squad nip Lincoln-Way Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Metea Valley upgrades its record to 8-11 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL) to play the Lane Tech in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. The Lane Tech go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Lane Tech lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)

The Knights now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Minooka for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Lincoln-Way Central will play a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Indians record now stands at 2-8.
