Illinois High School Soccer - Lake Park nudges Joliet West
April 15, 2023: Joliet, IL 60435 Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, April 16. Lake Park will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The RedHawks enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Niles North (Skokie, IL).
The Tigers now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Minooka for a Suburban Prairie challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Joliet West will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-1.
