In Saturday's non-league contest, the Boyertown Bears (Boyertown, PA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA), by a count of 17-16.

Coming up next, the Bears battle the Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) in a PAC-10 outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Boyertown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 8-3 league loss to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA).
