In Saturday's non-league test, the host North Branford Thunderbirds lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-6 victory over the Branford Hornets.

The Thunderbirds now have a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan for a Shoreline test on Thursday, April 20.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) in a Southern Connecticut test, on Tuesday, April 18. Branford will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Gaels come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, CT).
