April 15, 2023: Charleston, SC 29492 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Bishop England Battling Bishops soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Southside Christian Sabres.
The Battling Bishops (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Raptors come into the AA Region 7 battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Academic Magnet nudged Summerville (Summerville, SC), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Sabres (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against GREEN Upstate (Simpsonville, SC). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, GREEN Upstate was nudged by First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
