April 15, 2023: Bellingham, WA 98226 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA), saw Meridian's soccer squad knock off South Whidbey by a margin of 2-0.
The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Nooksack Valley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Tuesday, April 18. Meridian will meet a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-2 league Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, South Whidbey drops to 1-2 on the season. The Falcons host Bear Creek (Redmond, WA) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 0-0.
