Missouri High School Softball - Fair Grove nudges Pierce City
April 15, 2023: Fair Grove, MO 65648 Fair Grove Eagles (Fair Grove, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Hope for a District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Fair Grove will face a Pirates squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Greenfield (Greenfield, MO). The Pirates record now stands at 4-8.
With the loss, Pierce City falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Pleasant Hope (Pleasant Hope, MO) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Pleasant Hope lost 24-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Marionville (Marionville, MO)
