Ohio High School Softball - Gilmour Academy bounces North Olmsted
April 15, 2023: North Olmsted, OH 44070 Gilmour Academy Lancers (Gates Mills, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Olmsted Eagles (North Olmsted, OH), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Gilmour Academy will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 19-8 non-league loss to Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, North Olmsted falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Westlake (Westlake, OH) to battle the Demons in a Great Lakes challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Demons enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Westlake lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Buckeye (Medina, OH)
