The Keystone Wildcats (La Grange, OH) softball routed the visiting McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), 7-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats (11-0) will now prepare for their bout against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Avon was routed by Midview (Grafton, OH), 9-4, in a league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cathedral Prep for a bout on Tuesday, April 18. McDowell will confront a Ramblers squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Union City (Union City, PA). The Ramblers record now stands at 8-1.
