North Carolina High School Softball - Laney bounces Midway

The Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) softball routed the visiting Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC), 10-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Buccaneers (10-4) will now prepare for their bout against Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The go into the non-league bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Freedom Christian Academy notched a victory over Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Midway will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 24-4 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-3.
