New York High School Softball - Our Lady of Mercy Letchworth
April 15, 2023: Rochester, NY 14610 Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Letchworth Indians (Gainesville, NY), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canandaigua Academy for a Class A challenge on Monday, April 17. Our Lady of Mercy will battle a Braves squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Pittsford (Pittsford, NY). The Braves record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Letchworth falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Fillmore (Fillmore, NY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
