April 15, 2023: Hudson, NC 28638 The South Stokes Sauras the host South Caldwell Spartans softball squad by a final score of 6-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Sauras (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 5-7 record.
The Spartans now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Freedom for a Northwestern 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 18. South Caldwell will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Patton (Morganton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-12.
