April 15, 2024: Boyne City, MI 49712 Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI), 14-0 in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston for a Ski-Valley bout on Friday, April 19. Inland Lakes will face a Cardinals team coming off a 4-2 league win over Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-0.
Next, the Ramblers face the Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 17. Boyne City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Hillman (Hillman, MI).
