April 15, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87122 Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM), 9-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sandia upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Matadors travel to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 24. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 3-2.
With the defeat, La Cueva falls to 4-5 on the season. The Bears host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, April 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 2-4. Valley lost 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
