Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA), 9-8 in a league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty for a Northwestern battle on Thursday, April 18. Meridian will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 14-8 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 19. Brentsville District will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 10-5 league loss to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA).
