In Monday's non-league outing, the host Western Boone Stars softball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Clinton Central Bulldogs.

Coming up next, the Stars battle the Lebanon Tigers (Lebanon, IN) in a Sagamore outing, on Tuesday, April 16. Western Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 10-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Wapahani (Selma, IN).
