Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) and the visiting Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), witnessed McDowell's softball squad prevail over Draughn by a count of 10-0.

The Titans now sport a 9-3 record. They play next when they host A.C. Reynolds for a The Mountain 3A/4A match on Wednesday, April 17. McDowell will face a Rockets squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Enka (Enka, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 6-7.
