The Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA) baseball got by the visiting Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA), 5-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greensburg Central Catholic for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Apollo Ridge will clash with a Centurions team coming off a 6-5 league win over Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA). The Centurions record now stands at 7-1.

With the defeat, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart drops to 7-5 on the year. The Chargers host South Side (Hookstown, PA) to clash with the Rams in a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. South Side lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Riverview (Oakmont, PA)
