The Ballantyne Ridge Wolves baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Cannon Cougars to 4 in the Wolves non-league win on Tuesday.

The Wolves now own a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caldwell Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Ballantyne Ridge will play a Eagles team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-11.

With the defeat, Cannon drops to 5-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Pro Stock Royals Academy (Charlotte, NC) to play the Royals in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16.
