April 15, 2025: Edison, GA 39846 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Byne Christian Saints (Albany, GA) and the host Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA), saw Byne Christian's baseball team beat Calhoun County by a margin of 18-16.
The Saints (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 4-11 record. In their last battle, Crisp Academy by Westwood (Camilla, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars face the Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Calhoun County will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Golden Tornadoes enter the battle with a 8-13 record after their 10-7 non-league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).
