April 15, 2025: Cairo, GA 39828 The Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA) baseball trounced the host Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA), 13-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 12-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lowndes for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Thomas County Central will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 19-10.
With the defeat, Cairo drops to 10-13 on the year. The Syrupmakers travel to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA) to clash with the Packers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Packers go into the challenge with a record of 14-13. Colquitt County won 9-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA)
