The Carmel Christian Cougars baseball squad (Matthews, NC), was edged 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA)

With the triumph, West Potomac moves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Knights in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. The Knights come into the contest with a record of 12-8. Ardrey Kell lost 4-2 in their recent non-league contest against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA)
