The Culver Academies Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Morgan Township Cherokees to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.

The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westville for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Culver Academies will play a Blackhawks team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Morgan Township drops to 1-5 on the year. The Cherokees travel to South Central (Union Mills, IN) to play the Satellites in a Porter County test on Friday, April 18. The Satellites go into the test with a record of 1-4. South Central won 15-3 in their recent non-league test against Whiting (Whiting, IN)
