Elk Grove Thundering Herd (Elk Grove, CA) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA), 5-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Elk Grove moves its record to 11-9 on the season. The Thundering Herd travel to Clovis East (Clovis, CA) to battle the Timberwolves in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 15. The Timberwolves enter the battle with a record of 12-5. Clovis East won 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Washington Union (Fresno, CA)

Next, the Lions face the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 16. Kerman will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Hillmen enter the battle with a 12-9 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Frontier (Bakersfield, CA).
