April 15, 2025: Madison, IN 47250 The Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) baseball trounced the host Madison Cubs (Madison, IN), 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Albany for a Hoosier Hills challenge on Wednesday, April 16. Floyd Central will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-2 league win over Seymour (Seymour, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Madison drops to 3-1 on the year. The Cubs host Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to clash with the Olympians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 16. The Olympians go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Columbus East lost 6-5 in their recent league outing against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN)
