California High School Baseball - Valley holds off Foothill

The Valley Vikings (Sacramento, CA) baseball the visiting Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA), 7-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a Greater Sacramento challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Valley will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Napa (Napa, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-4.

With the defeat, Foothill drops to 3-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Johnson (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Warriors in a Greater Sacramento challenge on Saturday, March 29. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Johnson lost 22-1 in their recent league challenge against Burbank (Sacramento, CA)
