Virginia High School Baseball - Freeman wallops Thomas Jefferson
April 15, 2025: Richmond, VA 23229 The Freeman Mavericks baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings to 1 in the Mavericks league win on Tuesday.
The Mavericks now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a Colonial test on Friday, April 18. Freeman will clash with a Justices team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Justices record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Thomas Jefferson drops to 4-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Varina (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 1-4. Varina lost 5-1 in their recent league test against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA)
