April 15, 2025: Newtown, PA 18940 The George School Cougars baseball squad (Newtown, PA), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA)
With the triumph, Shipley moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The travel to La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA) to confront the Explorers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 16. The Explorers come into the contest with a record of 9-0. La Salle College won 5-4 in their recent league contest against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA)
The Cougars now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Academy of the New Church for a Friends Schools League contest on Thursday, April 17. George School will confront a Lions squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Calvary Christian Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
