April 15, 2025: Locust Valley, NY 11560 The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Packer Collegiate Institute Pelicans (Brooklyn, NY) and the host Portledge Panthers (Locust Valley, NY), saw Packer Collegiate Institute's baseball team gain a win over Portledge by a tally of 18-1.
The Pelicans (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Avenues The World School (New York, NY). The enter the Independent Private Parochial battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Avenues The World School was overwhelmed by Leman Manhattan Prep (New York, NY), 10-0, in a league battle.
