In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Summit Tigers (Frisco, CO) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), by a score of 8-0.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Western Slope bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Summit will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 7-4 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO).

The Spartans (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Scorpions enter the non-league bout with a 8-7 record. In their last bout, Sand Creek was overwhelmed by Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO), 4-3, in a league bout.
