In Tuesday's league bout, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), by a score of 14-1.

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Triton will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 12-6 record after their 10-0 league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC).

The Eagles (5-13) will now prepare for their bout against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts enter the non-league bout with a 3-15 record. In their last bout, Panther Creek was overwhelmed by Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC), 21-2, in a league match.
