McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA), 5-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, McQueen upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Lancers travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 16. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 7-4. Reed lost 12-2 in their recent non-league game against Douglas (Minden, NV)

The Wildcats now own a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Las Plumas for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. Whitney will play a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 15-5.
