In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Byron Center Bulldogs lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-10 triumph over the Spring Lake Lakers.

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, West Ottawa held off Jenison (Jenison, MI), 13-8, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers clash with the Zeeland West Dux (Zeeland, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Spring Lake will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Dux go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 12-3 non-league win over Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon, MI).
