West Virginia High School Lacrosse - George Washington overwhelms Mountain State

April 15, 2025: Ona, WV 25545

Fans at Tuesday's non-league test between the George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) and the host Mountain State Vikings (Ona, WV), witnessed George Washington's lacrosse squad achieve victory over Mountain State by a count of 15-11.

The Patriots (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Polar Bears enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Fairmont Senior was overwhelmed by Morgantown (Morgantown, WV), 18-9, in a league test.

Next, the Vikings battle the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a WVSLA -DII West test, on Saturday, April 26. Mountain State will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
