Georgia High School Soccer - Morgan County knocks off Academy for Classical Education
April 15, 2025: Madison, GA 30650 The Morgan County Bulldogs soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oconee County for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 17. Morgan County will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Parkview (Lilburn, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Academy for Classical Education moves to 10-5 on the year. The Gryphons travel to Dublin (Dublin, GA) to face the Fighting Irish in a 1A D-I Area 2 contest on Thursday, April 17. The Fighting Irish enter the contest with a record of 6-6. Dublin lost 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Claxton (Claxton, GA)
