Tennessee High School Soccer - South-Doyle nudges Pigeon Forge
April 15, 2025: Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 The South-Doyle Cherokees soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Pigeon Forge Tigers to 2 in the Cherokees non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cherokees now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Alcoa for a AA District 5 bout on Thursday, April 17. South-Doyle will play a Tornadoes squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lenoir City (Lenoir City, TN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, Pigeon Forge moves to 9-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN) to play the Highlanders in a A District 1 bout on Monday, April 21. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Gatlinburg-Pittman won 10-1 in their recent league bout against University School (Johnson City, TN)
