April 15, 2025: McLean, VA 22101 In Tuesday's non-league test, the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), by a tally of 14-0.
Next, the Highlanders meet the Corning-Painted Post Hawks (Corning, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 16. McLean will attempt to advance on its 9-0 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 4-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over James Madison (Vienna, VA).
The Braves (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Greenbrier Christian Academy toppled Horseheads (Horseheads, NY), 4-2, in a non-league test.
