Arkansas High School Softball - Fordyce drops to Poyen
April 15, 2025: Poyen, AR 72128 Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Fordyce Redbugs (Fordyce, AR), 17-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Poyen improves its record to 3-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Gurdon (Gurdon, AR) to play the Go-Devils in a 2A Region 8 game on Wednesday, April 16. The Go-Devils enter the game with a record of 4-7. Gurdon lost 8-5 in their recent league game against Woodlawn (Rison, AR)
The Redbugs now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Gurdon for a 2A Region 8 game on Friday, April 18. Fordyce will play a Go-Devils squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Poyen (Poyen, AR). The Go-Devils record now stands at 5-7.
