April 15, 2025: Forest Grove, OR 97116 Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR), 7-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Forest Grove improves its record to 8-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to Sherwood (Sherwood, OR) to face the Bowmen in a 6A Pacific game on Friday, April 18. The Bowmen enter the game with a record of 12-1. Sherwood won 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Barlow (Gresham, OR)
The Kingsmen now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hood River Valley for a 5A Northwest Oregon game on Friday, April 18. Putnam will face a Eagles squad coming off a 18-0 league win over Parkrose (Portland, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 9-2.
